Stew does the cooking, and having trained with the likes of Raymond Blanc and Michael Caines, has achieved recognition in all the major food guides every year since 1998. Our food philosophy is simple; buy quality, local ingredients and cook them in a way that allows their natural flavours to come through.


Reputed to be one of the oldest inns in Cornwall, the bar retains the ‘country pub’ feeling with a wood burning fire, soft lighting and cosy corners. Food is served in the bar, the restaurant and the garden.
