We are excited to welcome our new chef Richard and new front of house host Michelle who join the  Victoria team after 10 years running a luxury vacation resort in Malawi.

We are set in the heart of the quiet, coastal village of Perranuthnoe only 1½ miles east of Marazion, home to St. Michael’s Mount and only a minute from the South West Coast path. We are ideally situated to explore West Cornwall being only 10 miles from the Minack Theatre, St. Ives and Cornwall’s rugged North coast.

As well as award-wining food, fine wines, good local ales, ciders and a Cornish lager, we have two en-suite rooms available for bed and breakfast if you don’t fancy the drive home.

Our daily menu utilises the excellent wealth of local produce available each season within close proximity to the inn. We are very child-friendly and offer a good, healthy children’s menu as well as smaller portions of some of our main menu dishes.

Dogs are also welcome in the bar and garden and even though we don’t offer a full menu for the dogs, we do have biscuits for them behind the bar.

With a roaring fire in the winter and a south facing, enclosed terraced garden for the warmer months, the inn really is for all seasons.

This 12th-century pub in the coastal village of Perranuthnoe is a minute from the South West Coast Path, which offers a cliff walk with views of St Michael’s Mount. Enjoy a Cornish ale in the south-facing beer garden, then take a seat in the cosy pub with its exposed stone walls and low ceilings. The menu includes local seafood such as hake with wild mushroom risotto and cavalo nero crisps, or a spicy rose harissa bavette steak with fondant potatoes, carrots and ginger puree and chermoula.

False Bay Sauvignon Blanc, South Africa

Perfumed with nettle and ripe tropical fruits. A classic Marlborough Sauvignon. Fresh, clean and delicious. Try with white fish, seafood, grilled vegetables. This windswept Sauvignon Blanc wine is brilliant, really refreshing, vibrant and amazingly good value for the quality of the wine. A real winner! Fresh and crisp with a lovely aromatic nose. Flavours of greengage, citrus acidity and a fine, mineral finish. High quality Sauvignon at a snip!

La Croix Gratoit Picpoul, France

This wine is bright yellow in colour with vibrant citrus, pear and spice notes on the nose. The palate is full but extremely well balanced, with fresh Picpoul acidity and pure fruit flavours. The finish is long and mouthwatering, with complexity of stone fruit, spice and minerality.

Joyau Gros Manseng Chardonnay, France

Joyau is a zesty and aromatic white from Gascony… a little treasure from southern France. Pineapple, quince, apricot and melon, with a squeeze of pink grapefruit – an exotic fruit salad!

Rocca Pinot Grigio, Terre di Chieti, Italy

This delicious Pinot Grigio stand out for its elegance and fruity notes of white peach and yellow apple. Good structure and solidity. It is ideal as an aperitif and matches perfectly with seafood and pasta.

Hunawihr Pinot Gris, France

The nose is frank and well open with white flowers and pear aromas. The mouth is full and very rich, with a deep sweetness, well balanced by the natural acidity. The aftertaste is long and smooth, with truffle flavours. A perfect accompaniment to fish dishes.

Ponte Del Diavolo Pinot Grigio, Italy

Light, bright lemon in colour with a lively, freshly cut pear and baked bread character on the nose. More aromatic and with more structure and body than previous years, it has lovely elegance on the palate with ripe pears, a touch of sherbet and a nutty note offset by the characteristic freshness of wines from Friuli.

Sancerre ‘Clos des Bouffants’ France

Based in the heart of the Verdigny village of the Sancerre appellation where the chalky soils produce Sauvignon Blanc of the highest order. It is aged on fine lees for six months to impart additional complexity and flavour. Aromas of ripe rhubarb and gooseberry leap from the pale lemon coloured glass, along with hints of lime, chalk and flint.

Les Cerisiers Cotes du Rhône Rose

A classic salmon pink rose with delicate perfumed aromas of rosehip syrup, floral characters, wild berry blossom and fruit. Full flavoured and beautifully balanced.

Red

Zorgvliet Silver Myn Argentum, South Africa

A blend of, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The wine shows black plum and cinnamon spice show on the nose. Black cherry and mulberry fruit show through on the palate along with spice, all leading to a wellintegrated, elegant tannin structure.

Mantlepiece Cinsault, South Africa

This is a deep yet pretty Cinsault being generous of fruit yet full of life. The nose is alluringly aromatic with heady aromas of fresh damsons, plum sauce, hoi sin and star anise. The palate reflects these with its bright, fresh and gently textural notes that marry together with delicate finesse.

Il Casinone Soliti Merlot, Italy

The Merlot grapes are grown in a single block of just 6 acres, planted in 2000 on south-west facing slopes to encourage ripening. Cool nights on the hillside vineyards also encourages the development of fruity characters in the finished wine. The must is carefully fermented at controlled temperatures to ensure plenty of fruity extraction. The wine is bottled young without wood ageing to preserve the fruit character.

Cave de Tain Sans Sulphites, France

Deep, intense morello cherry colour. Vibrant dark cherry fruit on the palate with fresh, mouth-watering crunchy tannins supporting the juicy, clean Northern Rhône fruit.

Vieux Remparts 2016 Lussac Saint Emilion, France

Lussac is one of five villages to the northeast of Saint Emilion with the right to add that name to their own. Slightly more rustic than its big brother, but rounded and with great charm. This is a rich full- bodied wine showing great concentration of flavour, with juicy black fruit on the nose and palate backed up by a smoky sandel wood character.

I Muri Negroamaro Italy

The Negroamaro “I Muri” Vigneto di Salento by Farnese impresses with its power and structure, it is a full-bodied and voluminous red wine with a semi-dry and fruity character. A typical representative of the modern wine style of Puglia. It is produced by the Farnese Group, renowned for its first-class wine-making technology and crystal-clear wines.

A single variety, single estate, excellent Rosé sparkling from Polgoon. A delicate pink colour and a golden hue, with a n one of zesty citrus and toasted crumb. A delicate pale with hints of tangerine, honey and spice.

A classic Italian Sparkling wine located in the rolling hills of Veneto. Lively refreshing wine full of bright candied fruit flavours. Fresh sparkling is perfect for any occasion or a great aperitif

A fresh extra dry sparkling made with grapes picked from the Prosecco area. It has a light fruit bouquet.
